13th Lecture Event of the VFV
“Trends 2005 in the Field of European Food Packaging “
on 26 April 2005 in Aschaffenburg
The VfV Lecture Event took place on 26 April 2005 in the Stadthalle/Municiple Hall Aschaffenburg.
Main emphasis was put on the topics :
- Paper in food contact according to the FDA-regulations
- Resolution of the Council of Europe for paper
- Framework Regulation , Super-Regulation
On the occasion of the annual general meeting of the research association "Verein zur Förderung der Forschung und Ausbildung für Faserstoff- und Verpackungschemie e. V. (VFV)" a lecture event took place concerning topical issues in the field of food packaging for the 13th time.
We were once again able to win over many competent speakers from the part of the industry as well as surveillance. Besides the main focus on the EC-Framework Regulation and the "Super-Regulation", the current state of European standardization on hygiene management was presented.
The main focus in the paper sector that year was the handling of chemical additives in Europe as well as practical experiences with the Resolution of the Council of Europe. On request of many participants in former events, the testing within the framework of the FDA regulations was highlighted as well.
The conference language was German, however, the presentations were translated simultaneously into English.
