14th Lecture Event of the VFV
“Trends 2006 in the Field of European Food Packaging “
on 28 March 2006 in Aschaffenburg
The VFV Lecture Event took place on 28 March 2006 in the Stadthalle/Municiple Hall Aschaffenburg.
On the occasion of the annual general meeting of the research association "Verein zur Förderung der Forschung und Ausbildung für Faserstoff- und Verpackungschemie e.V. (VFV)", a lecture event took place for the 14th time concerning topical issues in the field of food packaging.
We were once again able to win over many competent speakers from different sectors of the industry and the EC administration. Besides the principal topic "Contact with foodstuffs", the new legal provisions and legislative projects were presented.
Another focus point was REACH and the its influence on packaging. The new European regulations for printing inks are an important topic not just since ITX.The conference language was German, however, the presentations were translated simultaneously.
